Edge EZ off switch
Yes I searched back to 2003 but couldn't find answers on a few questions.
1, witch wire on the 3 prong is the data link connector. From front to back 1,2,3.
2, will it throw a code if switched under power?
3, some mounted a double pole switch taking wires 1 and 2 into the cab, why two wires instead of only the data link single wire or am I missing something? Others took all 3 wires into the cab.
I know it will still act as a boost fooler. I would just like to add the off feature of the fuel and timing, BUT there was a post way back in 03 questioning if you could maybe use come CAT 5 wire and make a new "switchable" setting for the EZ using the 3 power levels, in the cab instead of opening up the box and moving the jumper (that would be nice) even if you had to shut the engine off first, maybe a 3 way switch for setting 1, 2 and 3? Anyone done that yet?
Just trying to get everything ready for camping season.
Thanks again.

I switched mine a couple years back. Theres two wires to the data link.
I went to radio shack and bought a double pole relay to break the two wires. Put a switch in the cab to switch the relay.
Never threw any codes.
I've never switched under power, only at idle.
