hey guys, got a question thats been puzzling me.

My 90 had its engine replaced by Cummins in 93. Same CPL as it originally had. When i bought it, it had a pyro, but all pump settings seemed to be stock, The truck runs really well and would out perform my friends 90 which is IDENTICAL to mine in every way. so i just decided the PO turned it up.

Heres the question. Plate on the VE says Rebuilt by Cummins, Phase II.
What is a Phase II IP? anybody got a clue or know who i can call to get some specs from cummins?

i know that since i got my throttle linkage right and can hit WOT, i can get 84 mph in 4th, and fly by 100 in 5th till the speedoneedle is straight down. I checked the speedo with the GPS 6 months ago and it was accurate. So Im curious if this Phase II is some sort of hotrod VE or if its just a minor pump tweek.
