How do I identify a motor as the ETH model?

How do I identify a motor as the ETH model?
I am looking for a new truck. I want a 6 speed with the ho motor. How is it identified (other than it having a 6 speed behind it (i.e. a stamp somewhere, a eth in the glove box, etc). Thx.

A 2nd gen or a 3rd gen?

Either will have that info on the engine data plate.
Front of engine, top/drivers side.

It won't say "ETH" but will have the HP rating stamped there.
