DC oulet has no power
My DC outlet in my 2006 does not have any power going to it. I think what happened is that my CB radio was plugged into it and shorted it out. Does anyone know where the fuse is or what I need to do to fix it?

3 fuses in the TIPM deal with power outlets. They are:
#1- 20 Amp Yellow Power Outlet- Console
#38- 20 Amp Yellow Power outlet- IP
#40- 20 Amp Yellow Cigar Lighter

Ok I need help with this one now. I checked all of these fuses none of these are blown but the power outlet in the dash on my 06 still will not work. Any fuses in the dash?
Any help would be appreciated!

Check the power plug in the back of the dash on the outlet. I knocked mine off one time and its difficult to get to. Sorry I didn't read from the beginning about you think its shorted. I would still check though as you may have pulled it off on the CB install.

Good idea, I didn't get a chance to dig into the dash yet, but It's worth a look.

Great queation! My power outlet has never worked in my 06 2500. I always have to use the cig lighter. I checked the fuse box, and also saw that three pronged opening. I don't have time for this B/S. My back already hurts from the seats.
