Cummins in F150
I have a 94 F150 and I was told that i coudl throw a PSD into it. Well thought twice. What if I went with a Cummins. How much money would I have to throw down just to get the frame stronger, new tranny, motor, front end, wiring crap, etc....
I can finally touch my CD and I found out that i hae alot of money in it.
Im sick of payin gas prices!!!!

By the time you buy the engine, figure out how to get the electronics in the truck to work, reinforce the frame, suspension and find a suitable transmission and swap out all of the associated drivetrain pieces, then upgrade the brakes to stop the thing, it will cost more than a new Dodge/Cummins or Ford/Navistar. You will have a difficult time finding any ready made kits to retrofit a Navistar engine into any pickup.
If you are bound and determined to do it, go find a 12 valve Cummins. I saw an F-350, mid-80's vintage with a 3208 Cat in it once. What the guy had to pay AND do to his truck was obscene. He had more dollars than sense.
