I have the problem of many others with water puddles forming inside of the truck. Ive looked and looked but i cannot seem to find anyone that has used a strong form of epoxy or silicone like substance that will seal it up. Could you drill a hole at each end of the crack and load her up with some high powered glue or will that just cause problems or not be strong enough?

I would use the (now discontinued ) factory patch panels with some Fusor adhesive. The OEM`s use this stuff to glue on quarter panels and such, it`s one of those deals where the bonded area is actually stronger than the parent materials. If ya can`t scrounge a set of OE patches I`d try to fab some up.

fab a patch apply the ht and then screw or rivot every inch or so. HT20 has an amazing shear factor, and bonds great.

I had my truck painted this summer bought the factory patch and installed while in shop, still have water in floor. Going after a new door gasket now.

JW check your cab lights, mine were leaking. It took me forever to figure it out. If you suspect them use a butyl rubber sealant not silicone.

IF you have trouble getting the HT-20 try using 3M's 5200 Marine Adhesive. That stuff is strong and water proof. You can get it at any marine discount supply. It comes in small tubes or the ones used in caulking guns. If the surfaces are absolutely clean it will bond tight enough that you will need a razor to seperate the patch from the cowling. It takes 24 hours to set up and a week to cure.
