Coolant Filter?

Coolant Filter?
I used to own an old Ford IDI and had a coolant filter installed. Since it was cheap to do and it extended the life of the water pump and increased the coolant purity, it seemed like something worth doing.
Has anyone done that with the cummins or is it something that is even needed?
