Hello All,
I down loaded the Quadzilla install instructions and it appears there are two methods for installing the probe, pre and post turbo. What is the difference, because the post install would most likely be the safest method? Do temperatures have that much variance between the two locations.

yes if im right about this I think post temps are usually about 200-300 deg cooler the pre. Safest to install (post). Safest on Motor and Turbo (pre).

Most poeple install pre-turbo. But get a good baseline which ever way you decide. And make sure you get all the drilling waste if you go pre.

Pre turbo is the true exhaust temp coming from the cylinders and will allow you to more acurately monitor your max temp to protect the pistons. Both would be nice to see what the turbo is doing, but I think pre is by far the best. You'll have to decide how to protect the turbo from drilling chips. Probably the most sure way is to dicconnect the turbo and block the opening. I left the turbo on and ran the engine on high idle during drilling and tapping, and partially blocked the exhaust. Worked fine but was hot.

Yes, loosening the turbo and sliding a piece of greased cardboard is a great way to catch all the metal filings.
