I am all in! Got my new truck last week and can't wait to get the stock muffler and intake off! I am going to go with Geno's delet pipe and the question I have is what kind of air intake to use? I think S&B is going to be my first choice anyone have this set up? Any sugestions about anything would be appreciated.

If you can do a search and look into the different brands. I know AFE makes a pretty good one and if your really good you can fabricate your own. I run a bullydog RFI for cooler EGt's. The exhaust also helps with them as well. Good luck with your choice.

 

I just looked at Fram boost, they have an air filter that is made of synthetic material and filters down to 8 micron and does not require oiling which I think would be benificial on a turbo, will not suck oil into it. And it is made of aluminum and looks good!

So does the S&B come with tube to replace the stock tube and silencer?

 

Yes, the S&B replaces your air filter box back to the turbo.

 

I just did my cheap airbox mod. The filter minder used to move with a new filter while towing. Egt's are down 100deg and filter minder no longer detects a vacuum. Cost was about $8 from Home Depot. The drain also keeps out large objects and animals.
