i just got a new ctd 6.7, and i haven't heard of anyone doing an exhaust, im thinking of just losing the mufler for now. By the way does anyone know if it will void the warranty.

Removing the Muffler will not give you warranty trobles.......when you alter the DPF and other emissions stuff thats when you have problems. People who remove their mufflers notice little or no difference to the tone of the exhaust so you probably would only gain from a little less backpressure and less weight.
