Big G

Hey guys,
I have a good friend that I let use my Smarty. He wanted to get better mpg and wasn't interested in extra power. He used my Smarty in fuel saver mode and was very happy with it. He did put it in 9 once and liked the kick that it gave his truck. (In fuel saver mode it also adds a nice kick). His truck is stock and has an auto and 4.10 gears. So he thinks he may go to a bit taller tire. I was wondering is there anybody here running the Granatelli Big G box? They claim 3mpg and 50/150 hp and tq.
Thanks,
Topper

According to Lary Ellis (Top) thats a rebadged Quad box

Many folks get better mileage with the regular smarty settings over the fuel saver, myself included

Thanks, Topper
Smarty will handle the bigger tires (285's) and is about all his auto tranny will hold... unless prepared to spend on upgrades?
I don't much trust mileage claims.... but I did pick up 1 mpg with Smarty in Economy. By far the best mild 'bomb' on the market... IMO.

What amazes me is we can add lots of HP and not lose mileage!!

Thanks guys,
I still wonder how well it works. They state 3mpg gain your your money back. I was hopping there was someone here running one that could shed some light on this. I guess if it is a rebadged Quad I can plenty of info on that.
Thanks again,
Topper
