Clayton,

Our new Triple Torq Force converter would be a great addition to your transmission. It is going to have the smothest engagement of any multi disk converter out there. It will handle anything you can throw at it. You can either message me or give me a call at 800-887-5030 xt 101

i was goin to go with goerend but he told me that i would be running a greater risk with a triple lock wothout an input shaft, money is limited so i just want to do a converter and valve body just need some input???

ATS and Suncoast says ill have no prob witha trp lok?idk

A multi disk converter is definately going to have a more aggresive engagement. Depending on the horsepower we have our dual clutch converter which is excellent in applications up to about 450hp.

I am also in the market for a t/c, the BD from what I have seen doesn't have as good a warranty as the ATS or Goerend, and it appears to be more expensive, is it that much better of a T/C that it doesn't need a good warranty and cost that much more or what am I missing?

I had a D that only lasted about 6 months. It was in my 98.5 that I had a complete full billet trans built by a local builder and was a BD distributor. When it failed I had it towed to the builder and he said that BD wouldn't warranty any part of it. I have had the same experience with Suncoast. I will only buy from Goerends.

By the way when Dave gives you advice pay attention, his advice is for your benefit. He doesn't tell ya what ya want to hear so you'll buy something that day he tells ya what ya need to hear so that when you buy something from him you won't be calling him in a few months with a horror story about how your trans failed.
Good luck,
Topper

We have a 3 year 150,000 mile warranty on our converters. With the new multi disk converter we are definately confident that you wont need it.

Who was the builder that you had do the transmission? Do you know what ended up being wrong with the converter? Even if the warranty was denied on it, you should have been offered a cut and clean for a couple of hundred dollars to make it brand new again. Just trying to make sure your builder wasnt throwing us under the bus...lol.

I recently bought a single disc from wally at FTE and couldn't be happier. It is a great converter for stock to mild power mods and the price was right.
