autometer pyro
mine started to jump all around and some times just peg out or go dead. Tracked it down to when ever I turned my lights one it would do it more. I guessed that sence the pyro is controled by an elec curent coming from the probe, and I have all my wires zip tied together coming up the apiller that there must be some interferance with the light wire when ever I turned it on. So long story short I undid the zip ties and put the pryo wires in its own little wire loom and then zip tied them all back and that was 3 plus years ago and havent had a problem sence.

At idel my runs between 275-325 degrees. My pyro bounced around for a while then went dead. I found that you could not ground the pyro wire to the a pillar. So, I went under the dash to the piece of channel that runs the width of the dash. I grounded there using a nut and bolt. The hole was already there. i haven't had a problem since.

Mine has been fine for two years just started.I wiggled the connection where the braided wire connects to regular wire and is shrink tube and it worked fine today.I need to cut the shrink tube off and check the little screw that holds them togeather.
