Arizona 12V help
I dug into my 97 this weekend to do from cover gasket and crank seal. While I have it apart I'm going to bump the timing to 16. Does anyone have the DV socket I could barrow or rent for a day? The truck is apart and I can't wait two weeks to get it ordered in.
On a side note I was going to pull the KDP out while I was in there. It is already MIA and the housing was dadmaged. Judging by the grunge layer it was like that before we bought the truck. It was completly dry. Not leaking at all from the crack. I cleaned it and used some B1/4 sealent (a petro safe flexible aircraft {read very expensive} sealent). It should be all good. There is not gear damage. Someday changing the housing will make a good excuse to do the cam.
