Any idea how much this will cost?
If you're a body man, feel free to chime in. My truck's LF tire delaminated at 65mph a few months ago and left me with this. The damage isn't too bad, but the door is rusted at the very bottom. I think I'll just replace the door, but the rocker needs some attention. The fender has a little damage, and it doesn't line up with the door too good now, but that could be because of the door's damage. The rocker could be pulled, but it shouldn't need much. The black streaks are just rubber, and they rubbed off. My wife loves this truck, and it only has about 85K on it, so it will be with us for quite a while. These are the only pics I have, and I can't take any more (deployed).

First of all, please take care over there. Plan and intend to stay safe and come back healthy and in one piece.
Second, what kind of tire was it that delaminated?
Third--I don't know what it would cost, but hopefully someone can help you out with that info.

I have a 3" dent behind my driver door in the b-pillar, paint gone. Got a price to fix, was told $900. Hopefully this will give you an idea at least. For me, primed the spot and keep on driving.

Here's why I want to fix it. It looked like this seconds before the mishap. I think I'll just try to find another door because this one is rusting at the bottom, pull and Bondo the rocker, and have it paint matched. Depending on how the fender turns out, I may just swap it, too. It won't be cheap, but this truck has accrued less than 85K miles in 12 years, and it runs awesome. It's a great truck, and I feel it deserves a little love. Hell, I might just bite the bullet and get a complete 99-01 Sport conversion for it. We'll see...

First. Thank you for serving our country in this trying mess.
I have found used doors for less than 100 dollars at times, in the South. Look at aftermarket suppliers for the plastic on bumper. A metal insert is avaliable for the rocker repair. This would be a more permanent repair than bondo. Bondo will fail in less than year in this area of repair.
Like you say, the old girl is good for many more miles and they deserve to be good looking miles. JMHO

Lobotomy? - so that's what happened to me (ret. CW4 aviator), I thought it was because I got married, or was the lobotomy first? Now I'm confused.

stay away from bondo for anything but a very thin skin smoothing coat or it will crack and need repair soon. LMC sells all those parts you have damaged or missing- seems to be the best price for them too outside of a junk yard. I have found less than 6 2nd gen trucks in the junk yards up here in 10 years, so I hope there's a better selection outside of New England.
Might want to have a body shop look at the door before you decide to replace it- much of the rubber will come off with some elbow grease and buffing and that dent looks like it could be pulled most of the way out fairly easily.
