i bought a snow stage 2 kit water injection kit..... my question is i have seen guys install solonoids inline with the pumps... so do i need this to keep the boost presure from "seeping" back into the resivoir? would a check valve do the same? is it nessary as it talks about boost in the instructions and says that a checkvalve is optional..... i guess i can instakk it and see.... what are ya'll's input what has or has not been done before?

 

If the check valve came with the kit then i would install it. it will prevent boost from pushing back into the pump and prevent the possibilty of water draining off into the engine, at least thats the idea.

 

ok i got it installed but i think i need bigger nozzles as the biggest that i got is a 225.... what sizes and combinations do ya'll use?

 

Im running a pair of the largest, 625ml, in each of my trucks.

 

me too, pair of 625's at 220 psi....on at 27 psi. Stage II Snow
