Air Bags

Is there a brand of air bags the will fit if you have a goose neck hitch in the truck? I was told the was no air bags that would fit because of the BW turn over hitch and where it bolts to the frame? Anny Sug????????????

The air bag fits between the spring and frame (of course) I see no way you will have a problem. I used Firestone, and to confuse everyone there is a either a extra piece in the kit..or a overload spring bracket that you will have to take off (self explanatory once you are there...been 4 years so..)

I was told the bracked for the upper pice that attaches to the frame and to the top of the air bag. The bolts are the same place as the plate in the frame for the BW turn over hitch. And you can not put them on together?

I have a B&W GN hitch and run Firestone Ride Rite airbags. I ended up notching the top brackets a little. I have pics somewhere. Let me know if interested.

I would think a set of ride-rites should fit fine.

Pics, not the greatest but....

I talked to B/W about drilling through their rail and they said it was fine. They said that the B/W has to be installed BEFORE the airbags are installed.

Thanks firemanram

For what its worth, I used Firestone's Ride Rite kit #2071
I have the overload springs (camper package) and left them in.

Here is a drawing of where I cut the top brackets:
