Got in the truck this morning and my control **** broke. The inner part that allows you to control your vent settings just spins. Is there any way to fix this other than glue? If not where is the best place to purchase a new ****?

They are like $5 at the dealer but will break again.
I slipped a ring made out of copper tubing over the shaft of my ***** to strengthen them.
No more problem.

The ac control **** is a part of the temperature control unit and it offers an easy access to the air conditioning system of the vehicle right?

Look at the date, most everything parts related has spiked since they went bankrupt..........

eBay- got a new used on (mint shape) for $7.
Mine went years ago and I used layers of heat shrink to re-enforce it. The heat from the bulb there does them in - gotta change the bulb to an LED...

Even if they hadn't of gone bankrupt just with inflation the price probably would have at least doubled in six years. Plus the supply is probably getting pretty limited since they haven't used that type of **** in ten years. Highly doubt they are making any new ones.
