99 CTD Missing Bad at Idle...

Last week the Injector Pump died. So I installed a New Rebuilt IP and a new LP. Bled injectors and Cleared the codes. Truck started fine but had a miss. I figured it was just air in the lines but after a couple days of driving it is still there.

The miss is very weird. Idleing in park it has a Bad Miss and the tach bounces between 900-1000rpm's. (also does this in neutral and when coasting in gear) But when idleing in Drive or Reverse (or when converter is engaged) It runs fine.

The weird part is NO CODES!

Truck is Stock with 189k miles.

Any ideas???

Thanks,
Josh

Recheck all the injector lines. Sounds like your getting air into one of the injectors.

I was thinking the same. Gonna replace the connector tube orings tomorrow and re-check the lines.

Rechecked everything and replace the orings. No leaks and it still runs like ****! I finally got a code though... P0216 Looks like this IP is bad!

Probably a bad rebuild job. That totally sucks!
