285 70 17 E Rated ?

I have had (2) set of Michelin stock 265's and they do stink in the rain and snow but I can get about 85,000 miles out of each set. Is there anything out there that I can get that kind of mileage but are 285's and are E Rated ? Thanks

Toyo and Nitto have E rated 285's. I just put a set of E rated 285 Toyo Open Country AT's on my truck last Friday. Love the tires.

I heard you can only get maybe 40,000 miles out of those tires. How many mile have you put on those brand tires. Thanks.

I hope to get 40k out of these tires. At least now I have traction on wet pavement (and grass). The Michelins are great for towing but suxs for anything else.

Nitto has just came out with a new highway tire, Dura Grappler, will be available in a 285 E rating.

Michelin doesn't have a E rated 285. Their latest tire, AT2, is only D rated.

The Michelin's are great for towing and they are the only tires you'll get 80,000 out of. Forget the snow.
