Not sure if this is the best forum to post this, but after looking at all the other forums here, this seemed to be the most appropriate.

Anyway, I've seen pictures of the new Ram. Some of you surely have too. Are we in agreement that it is one ugly Dodgeling? Whoever is in charge of their design should be fired. They took a great looking truck in '02 and made it even better ('03-'05). Then they took a slight step back starting in '06. Now, they've slid all the way into the gutter for '09.

Ugh.

Your thoughts?

I personally think it looks great. And I wish they had the diesel avaliable now cause their would be one in my driveway. The only thing that I think its missing is the family truckster headlights like the other brand uses

I think it looks great and it looks like it's raised the bar a good bit in the light duty truck market.

I wasn't a fan of the 03 at first, but it grew on me.

I like the 09, drove me one, it was awesome, except for the whole gasser part. Make mine a 2010 regular cab, short bed diesel sport, in silver.

That forward leaning grille (ala the Charger) is hideous.

i like the truck too. those compartments on the side of the bed are pretty cool. i like the interior. i like the front end. way better than chevy or ford IMO.
but i will agree with you about the 06-08 dodges. those headlights are too big and the tailights on the 07 08 are ugly. but hey everyone has there own opinion.

We just got our first one here in town at the dealer. I think it looks great! I think its the way they should have gone after the 2nd gens personally. I do like my 06 and all, but I like the streamlined look a whole lot more. It has a real clean look to it.

Still curious to see the new 3/4 and 1 tons when they come out in 2010.

Just my opinion of course.

I started out with a 03 1500 Hemi and loved the looks. When the 06's came out I hated it at 1st. The looks slowly grew on me. Then I bought my 07 CTD and love the looks more than my 03. When I 1st saw pictures of the 09 I thought it was so ugly. Now its starting to grow on me, seeing it more and more.
Guess we just hate change at 1st.

Standing outside of a new Quad Cab 4X4 they just look so small compared to my 08. I love the interiors and the new materials. The new HEMI will be a strong motor and probably the best motor that Chrysler has ever produced. The new 2500 and 3500 Rams will have a front end that may be to tall for the forward facing look that the 1500's have. These things sit so close to the ground that the approach and departure angles look like a 2wd. I will have to wait for a 2011 used 2500 in 2015. Let someone else take the hit and get a great deal. BUT by then the new 1500's will have the V8 Cummins that will have time to get the bugs worked out and that may be the route that I go. Boost.......

I looked over one on the lot a couple weeks back.
It was a Larime and it had fantastic red metalflack paint job on it!!!
I didn't like the center consil and lack of a bench.

Overall, if the bigger trucks looked like it, I too would already have one...but maybe not with the 6.7....
