2 wheel ABS....pump?
It appears that the 2 wheel ABS system is very rudementary. There doesnt seem to be a pump, just a small solenoid rack below the MC.I would guess this just kinda works like a line-lock except backwards, releasing pressure when the diff. sensor detects lockup.....correct?
My ABS and brake lights has been on for some time and Ive already replaced the diff sensor. It was already replaced once and confirmed faulty the last time the light came on,years ago. This time it must be something else.I did confirm that the rear ABS doesnt work(easy enough to test skid the rears).
Whats the next most common failure item in the rear ABS system?Or better yet,is the system computor controlled, can I pull codes? Is there a common, 99% of-the-time, "quick fix"? Ive checked all the connectors wires for damage, corrosion or looseness.....no luck.
