14 bolt questions

I finally broke the 70 and I think I'll go 14 bolt this time. Any of you guys that have done this care to share some secrets?

Will the brake line thread together or will I need new ones?
I can build perches and shock mounts, but will the drive line need to be modified?

Thanks for any help.

Jeremy

Not sure on the brake lines but you will need to source a 1410 yoke for the 14bolt as most 14b's had a 1350

I think I know were some 3.73's are. The rear end I've found is 4.10's should be able to swap gears. What would a yoke that big come on?

Brake Line.

You will need to get a new brake like made from the frame to the axle. The end off your stock dodge one will not fit the splitter (Y) on the 14FF.

Sorry, didnt notice you were 2wd. They make a 3.42 for it if that helps... You can buy yokes new from a driveline store.

I think you can have up to a 10% difference in gears without blowing your t-case
