Another thing to consider, is that those new tires have not broken in yet.......most all tires (with exception to Michelin it seams) take a few thousand miles or so for the rubber compound and sidewalls to flatten out and stiffen up........last set I bought were Cooper S/T's and almost took them off just a few days after purchase, due to fuel consumption drop and poor, squirly handling. Glad now I kept them, cause once they broke in, have now become the best set of tires I've had on the Dodge to date!!!

I bet you messure that one in gallons per mile. I like it though

Just under a gallon in a shade under 9 seconds...and it's more than diesel unfortunately also

Is that an old Arrow?

And on the tires, are they E rated with the stiffer sidewalls or D rated?

Yep...it's an Arrow with a 512ci lowdeck...well actually it's getting a new mill. I kicked a rod in NC over Thanksgiving

and ...yes E rated tires..
