Weeping CP3

I was messing around under the hood today and noticed fuel between the cp3 and front gear case. I've searched a bit and noticed a few comments on colder temps causing a leak. It has been getting colder here in KS (low 30s) but I am not sure if this where the "normal" leak occurs with these things. See pic below, thanks!

Looks like mine does - wet during the winter months and seals up again in the summer months. It's been doing that for the last two years now.

Mine did this for the first 3 winters but has now stopped. It is normal as long as it is a small drip. If it gets worse you will need the new upgraded O-Rings.

Yep, mine does the same when cold. Every now and then I'll spray a little oragne sovent in the area and hose it off. It never gets any worse and goes away when temps warm up.

Mine is worse. Any idea where I get the upgraded O-ring kit and installation instructions?

Putting info here. MY CP3 was the original 2005 and started leaking,,, then leaking BAD. I bought a new CP3, removed the old one- (is anyone needs tips, please respond to this topic) and upon inspection, 4 of the 6 torx bolts that hold the two haves of the CP3 together where all MISSING. If you put a mirror under the CP3 with flashlight, you can see the cases separated.
CP3 was working great, but the last bolts fell out and that was it, it stalled and the rest is history. If anyone knows of a good CP3 reman shop, please link.
Removal of and Install of CP3 is a bit challenging, but ounce you do it, it's a piece of cake.
Then the Serpentine belt, I am now a MASTER, after watching 5 plus Youtubes on it. Any how, take care all.
