Low fuel PSI after Fass install
I just installed a fass factor replacement lift pump for a uddy of mine. He had 0 fuel psi from the stock pump pulling a load and very little at idle. After install he drove around for 2 days with no load and his % psi warning lite never came on. Today he hooks his trailer up and as soon as its under load the lite came on, I had him check psi, idle is 8-10, under load (with trailer) 3 psi. Its an 01 5 speed with 70??? miles. Never any problems except 2 stock lift pumps replaced over the years. Do these pumps have a releif valve like the p-pumps that could be bad. I know nothing about the vp44 pumps. Thanks

Im 99% sure the gauge is acurate. I used the gauge to check the tell-tale light before replacing the pump. Its not a permenant gauge.

I'd check filter as mentioned above, I was about to replace my carter lp which was only 1 year old because I had 2 psi at idle, filter change and now I am at 14.5 idle and 10-11 at WOT 8 under load. its worth the 20 bucks plus you should always do one when messing with the fuel system
