2007 lifted D-Max pics

Just thought I'd share a few pics of a nice lifted D-Max that belongs to a customer/former employee of my work. Here's the specs: 2007 Chevy grey metallic crew cab long bed, Duramax/Allison, 8-10" Cognito lift, 20x12 KMC XD series Hoss wheels, 38x15.50-20 Toyo Open Country M/T tires, Fox 2.5? resevoir shocks, lift & tires performed by Outlaw Offroad in Irvine.

I know it's not a Dodge, but this thing looks real good. To me, a nice rig is a nice rig...

That thing looks cartoonish. Way overdone and the tires don't work well with the wheel wells at all. Guess I just have no understanding of the boulevard wheeler/pavement pounder/hard core mall crawler/all around useless truck scene.

And I can hear that Rube Goldberg/Tinker Toy front suspension creaking and groaning from here.

Tires/wheels are about the only good-lookin thing on that truck; I still dont think GM could design a good lookin truck or car if they had to, they just dont look that great to me...never thought Id say it, but the Chevy/GMC trucks do look better than the Fords-ugh!; neither has anything on the Dodges though!! Just my 2 cents...

The truck looks awesome in person. With that much tire & lift, it looks very proportional. I don't like the stock look at all. Just to prove my point, look at those giant front mirrors (bumper corners) and think of a stock size tire sitting behind that. BTW, he's got enough money to convert it to a straight axle. This is his company vehicle, so it's gotta stay somewhat conservative and have good ride quality.

The rear on all lifted Chevy/GMC trucks needs to be higher than the front.

I don't like that truck at all.

nice truck, but it's just sad that now the only difference between trucks is the grill. If u put ur finger over the grill, it could be any new truck, dodge or ford.

Its a sharp truck, but it just doesent look as much like a truck as a dodge or ford in my opinion. And I like chevy a lot better than ford... I like the older body style a lot better, but like I said. Still a very sharp truck. Maybe it needs a ranch hand to get rid of that HUGE piece of chrome on the front?
