I have a question for ghostrider and archer39! First ghostrider did you use two pieces of channel stock welded together and does the exhaust flow evenly between the two stacks? How long are your stacks? Archer is that a dual exhaust kit and who's is it? I like both set ups but ghostrider allows for using the front of your bed. I have a 6 ft. bed and i would lose that part with a kit like archer39. But i also like the looks of your. Also approximate cost for both set ups? Thanks guys....Augie

when i need to use all 8 foot of my bed i get two seven foot 2x4 nailed them together then put sheet of plywood on top of the 2x4. it raises the plywood above the stacks and i got all 8ft of my bed.

My stacks are a lil over 30 some inches i had to compensate for the height of the reducers they sit in and the box together because i wanted the top of the stacks to sit about even with the cab i forget i can get some measurements for ya if you like. Those are 2 pieces of 6" channel welded together. I attached the stacks with 4"-5" reducers that we welded into the box on both sides. I also welded one from the bottom going through the bed for my elbow to hook up to the box. The smoke comes out fairly evenly the only time you can really see a difference in smoke output is when I crank it up. I didnt run the exhaust straight back i tried to run it as close to center with out having the transmission or driveshaft become a factor. I also used some aftermarket rice burner muffler hangings for supports on each stack through bolting it through the front of the bed. If you would like pics lemme know.
