I had a fairly decent set of inner fenders that gor patched, blasted, epoxied and painted with single stage that was supposed to be a flat paint.

I finally got the core support to comply with the program so it went to the blasting shop and i hit it with epoxy primer and 1985 Mopar Navy Blue single stage.

Years ago i scored a JC Whitney style tube grill out of a junk yard. Its coming in clutch on this job. Thank God I hoard parts.

I used the 2nd gen fan shroud, which was broken on the bottom, and did some more trimming to fit the non IC fan behind the new rad from Slaughter Zone.

This will be the face of this ride. Note the hard trimming of the valence to clear the 2nd gen cooler. I think this would all fit behind a big plastic IC grill, but thats what everyone else does.

I got the old fenders fitted back on the truck, adjusted both front doors so they close correctly, and aligned the hood. The body parts lined up good enough for a few shake down miles.

As i mentioned before this project is time consuming and nothing from the second gen fits this first gen without a lot of re-engineering. I had to move the battery tray about an inch towards the fender and clearance the inner fenders for cooler tubes
