We used to have a big get-together in Claremont each year and it was a lot of fun. The poor economy has just made people not want to spend the $$$ on the fuel to get here anymore. I'm getting ready to head up to Dillsburg, Pa today for the Spring Fling just because it is a diesel event.
I'm down if someone wants to plan something....

Well, even with the bad economy we all still want something fun to do. I'm always willing to bring the grill and some wings/brats. They are fairly inexpensive so it really doesn't kill the wallet even if I am feeding lots of people.
As I said before, I'm always ready. I kind of like the Va get-together a lot more than the Pa one because it seems that up in Pa it's just a bunch of young guys who just hang out with their friends while the Va guys seem more outgoing. Maybe I'm just getting too old.....

There is room and many others did the same when we did this.......
Joel spent a good amount of $$$ putting this on and I think that maybe if others donated to the cause it may make it easier for him to do this again. All those big fat steaks and those door prizes had to cost him a lot of money. I did my part by supplying Chicken Wings and Brats. Maybe we should start a poll to see who would be willing to help finance this if he put it all together again. Maybe $5.00 a head or something like that. I'd definitely pay it.......

Doing it at the Claremont Fire Dept was always nice. We just have to talk Joel into putting it together since he does such a great job of it. There is always a good turnout but never a lot of people that come on here and confirm that they are coming. Getting DavidTD there with the mobile dyno always brings lots of extra people there too...
