Fourth semi-annual Home Appliance Shoot and Furniture Burn

Anyone up for another home appliance shoot at Boatniks place? May add a night time furniture burn providing we get clearance from the owner.

We can do that. Some of the old junk is still sitting there from the last time. Even the lawn mower with the cannon ball hole thru it.

Yes !! The original event was the inspiration for my oldest son's bachelor
party. His future father-in-law asked--"Does this mean it's a shotgun
wedding?".

I still remember having the gang at my house shooting the cannon at a drying machine. AWESOME.

I was just telling some guys at work about our "get-togethers".
PM me with a date......(hopefully after the weather warms up a little)
I'll bring a few 'Targets of Opportunity' also.

Hey guys, I am still up for a shootfest but April/May are pretty much a bust do to work schedules at the power station. The first couple weeks of June are Ok but I don't recommend it then because of the over abundance of May Flies. The last weeks of June and the July fourth week are out. I work as a Hazmat driver and tech. for Dominion Fireworks and that is our busiest time. As a matter of fact I will be at Massenutten July 2, and 3rd. and Fredricksburg on the fourth. Best time for me will be anytime after the Fourth of July. The road into my place has been improved some but it is still a dirt road with plenty of mud or dust. I will have the field mowed a few days prior to whenever we decide to have the shoot.

The cannon is still working I hope to have a new carrige for it by then. Something with wheels like an old naval deck gun.

Well, May is gone and June is upon us. I just hosted a shootfest last week and it turned out great except it rained on the bonfire. One thing about tidewater weather. It you don't like it just wait a couple minutes and it will change.
