BTW, I found a good, easy to implement anti-theft feature over the weekend.

If you move the white latch on the big harness at the top of the firewall to the open position, the truck won't start. You don't have to unplug it, just move it to open. It only caused a small amount of grief...

Sounds like a hard lesson learned.

Not too bad. A little worried after the first couple of tries at cranking. Then when I didn't hear the lift pump, I was thinking that the LP died. Then just before pulling the plug on the pump and checking for connectivity, I figured I'd check for codes. That's when I discovered that I had no connectivity to the ECM. So I rechecked everywhere I recently had my arms and hands since the last time it started.

Just two.. No bus communication from ECM and a companion code. But they'd only be set if you try to start it.

It's looking like the official meet for my crew will be at the pulls too. So there should be plenty of us...not pulling.

Just got off work about an hour ago, now packing to head to Giddings for a wedding this weekend.

Taking the car instead of the truck...that should be a new one. I always make that trip with the truck. So no highway testing this weekend...

Wow, I was about to head to Oklahoma myself.
Unless something comes up I'll be there, don't know how many of mine will come yet.
