Home depot tool rental, I think its 40 or so for 4 hours, or $70- 90 for twenty four hours. But I recommend getting a young buck on that chore, I did 14 holes 36 inches deep in semi soft ground and it whipped me. They have one man augers and two man. and also this little critter called and eager beaver or little beaver or something of that nature that is supposed to be the best.

If you do the HD route make sure you get the right bits before leaving store and make sure it as an adequate tooth face. a long story behind that one.

Kurt that Sux big time! So sorry to hear it. Im shocked that it blew since yours was basically stock, right?

You might try giving these guys a call...... http://www.blumenthalautomatics.com/

I have never used them but they appear to be pretty reputable. They may have one sitting in a crate ready to go.

Thanks Max. HD will probably get the business. Also, the 6'2", 230# son-in-law will probably get to do the heavy work....or at least help.

Was planning on it. Got some 2nd gear band slippage I need to fix but should get-r-done this weekend.
I know Mike was counting on going also...unless something has come up?

I'm planning on heading that direction. No racing or pulling, just watching and consuming.

I guess I better get a few sets of batteries for the camera charged up then. My camera has gotten notorious for eating AA batteries like they're candy.

Anyone have the digital video camera so we can get video of the action?

And YouTube won't/can't download photobucket videos for some reason... so I never could save it with my others.
Your's a Video camera? If so, I'll bring the 'AA's'

I would like to run down the track once and just see what my time is. Any idea how much that would cost?

Oh and getting a video of it would be too cool!

Hard to say... being a new track and event being run by NADM?
My guess would be $10 to get in and $20 (total) if you want to run also.
Bet you can't do just one! .
Actually , good idea to do 1or 2 more gentle practice runs (maybe no boost on the line). just to get your timing down and lose the nerves? Also, gets the truck warmed up. JMO.

I think mine will do video, but not sure if it has an audio mic. I'll have to check into that (shows how much I use video).
