The Ranch on the 25th
Wish I could have made it
Just got back from PA and had an awesome time. It was 86 degrees on Saturday. Broke a record. It was around that the whole time we were up there. Couldn't ask for better weather. I believe it was nicer there than here.
Looking forward to the next meet. I need to get rid of some "stuff"

Well, I came back from Mexico this afternoon. Me and the guy I was working with down there made the executive decision that we wanted to get outta there and not wait around till Thursday. Wasn't as worried about the flu as I was worried about what gov't would do with respect to the borders or travel.
Looks like we're not going to go back till May 11, assuming it calms down by then.
Now I can just wait a couple of days and make sure I'm clean, or I might get my own news story on WFAA.

A few weeks ago, we flew in and drove to Altoona, where my wife is from. We take 22 East out of Pittsburgh and go right by WyoTech in Blairsville

We were up in Erie. I was born there and raised in Girard, about 20 minutes away. We flew into Pittsburgh on Friday and flew out on Monday. Hadn't been home in a year and a half. Needed to see the family.

Good! Mexico is not the place to be right now.

Ya stay in the states.. . .
GOOD NEWS:
My college has decided that they want to right a few wrongs with us students for not giving us the internships, or guaranteed jobs.
they decided to give every student in the wind program 19 FREE credit hours to apply to next semester and this summer semester. So it looks like i might stay here next year and finish my ed. , but still looking for an internship on my own.
My guess is this is the best way to cover there rump and avoid lawsuits.

So my parking brake light has been coming on lately even when the brake is off. Usually you can pull up on the pedal a bit and it would go out, but today it finally just wouldn't go off. So I got under there and pulled the switch out.
Here is what it looks like

The copper arm is cracked almost all the way across right at the 90* bend. Apparently, it's not strong enough to last through 200K miles of the brake arm slamming against it each time the brake is released.
Of course, no one stocks the part so I guess I'll be ordering.
At least it was simple, I was anticipating a chaffed wire somewhere that I was going to have to track down.

The leg from the 90* bend to the curved end is about 1.25". The bottom from the 90* to the screw hole is about 1.5".
From the way that the brake arm hits the bracket each time it is released, I can see how it would eventually stress the bend enough to break it.
