North Texas Drive Shaft Shop?

Rear drive shaft decided to separate itself from the truck while towing 5th wheel to campground yesterday. U-Joint between slip yoke and drive shaft exploded. The end got chewed up. Anybody recommend a drive shaft shop in North Texas that can possibly fix this? (IE cut off end, weld new end back on and balance)
Pulled drive shaft out on side of road, put truck in 4WD and continued to campground

I know a guy in Tyler that can do it. Kinda far from McKinney though.

Rob,

I can't really recommend them one way or another. I was just doing a quick search and the only thing I came up with locally is 'Collin County Truck Parts and Driveshaft Services'. 2735 E. University Dr....972-562-4352. Perhaps they can help.

and one more... Inland Truck Parts and Service....4501 N. Elm, Denton, 800-335-8177.

Hope that helps some. Best of luck getting it resolved. Let me know if you need some help getting the trailer home.

Awesome, thanks for finding a place in Mckinney Robert
I will call on Monday.
Also, thank you very much for offering to drag us back. That is very much appreciated. We have already set it up for somebody else to haul me back though

I love this site
