Just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone! All is well here minus the **** cold!
Want to put a BIG thank you out there to CR!
He has helped my out big time this deployment by picking up the 96' CTD and soon the 12' PW for me.
I should be home mid to end of April some time. Then I will only have a few months left in Texas. I have orders for my next duty station. Looks like I will be heading to Colorado Springs. CR tells me the huntin is great! I have never bagged an elk before. The Rambox on the new PW will be put to good use for holding fishing rods, guns and the fact one side can hold 280 12oz cans!!
BTW, I need a rifle for knocking down an elk. Most have recommended a 7mm with a good scope. Give some opinions please.
