Ok, how does this #42 and #8 thing work? I'm from Round Rock and have a 3rd gen. Not sure which if either of those makes a differance where I'm "suppose" to post.

 

Chapter #42 is for the Stephenville area, and Chapter #8 is for the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Someone started a chapter in San Antonio, but I am not sure what number it is. I'm from Dripping Springs about 20 miles west of Austin, but I don't know of an Austin area chapter.

So far I can only confirm that we have a chapter in the DFW area and Stephenville, I've heard that there is one in San Antonio but I haven't seen any evidence of it. If you wanted to start a chapter you might be able to get it done. But that would be against tradition, all of the chapters that have been established were started by members that are part of the DFW #8 chapter.

When I started you had to get a hold of DieselDaze and he was the one that would process everything. I want to say its a one time fee of $5 I think, my memory is short.

 

Great so all 3 chapters (assuming San Antonio is active) are all arround 250 miles from me.
