It's neither, originally it was a darker silver, and I wanted to bring it back to that but saw this silver as one of their silver options and went with it. Every newer factory truck I pull up next to seems to have a little darker tone in it. I was very surprised when I went to pick it up and didn't know if I liked it at first but it has definatley grown on me. Can't decide if I want to paint the mirrors now, definately thinking recon lights and a steel front bumper powder coated silver.

Plus chevys ride better and parts for the body would be easy to come by, OEM, aftermarket and junkyeards.
Being a 4wd aint that big a deal to me seeing as how it will just be a road truck.
Basicly I want to do a lot of road trips with friends in the future. I want the mileage of a VW Jetta but the room and cargo ability of a 4 door truck.
I was thinking a 12v with an auto, gearvendor and a high rear end would produce some nice numbers.....
I dont get great mileage with mine at all. 2WD low to the ground with street tires and less weight would help. Mine is 7500lb, 4:10 gears and 16.5 is as good as it gets.

Yeah Ive seen ya. Nice looking truck! A friend was talking with me outside one day when you drove by and he said, "Why cant I have a nice rig like that?" to which I replied, "Cause you spend all your money on beer."

It's funny because it's true...

Ya that is so very true cause I used to drive a 1986 3/4 chevy and then I cut way back on the beer and then for some reason I had enough money to afford this truck LOL

Yeah. One rolled its way into my yard a few weeks back. Took a hammer and punched out the center plastic piece so that the hub could slit through it. Then got the VW tin plate and put some poster sticky tack on the back to set it on the hub. it was a good laugh.
