Is it worth towing 2nd car to AK or drive?
I've used the Uhauls before. They have hydraulic inertia trailer brakes if I remember right. The attachment points are nice and I was impressed. If you're not familiar with their braking system it takes some getting used to. Basically the trailer hitch slides back as you apply the truck brakes and this pushes a spring loaded cylinder (hydraulic ram) which applies the brakes.
I would think the cost to rent the Uhaul trailer would be $1000 or more. I'm wondering if it would just be cheaper to buy a small 16' bumper pull trailer instead.
