Question trailer brake controller

I just bought my first Dodge 3500. It has the trailer tow package with the trailer wiring connector in the bumper.

Does Dodge provide a pigtail that connects to a electronic trailer brake controller?

I can't find one in the truck or a place to connect to the wiring. In my Fords they gave an wiring diagram and wiring harness that plugged in under the dash.

thanks in advance

Yes. As far as I know, and on both my '99 and '02 Dodge 3500's, the pigtail was always in the glove box.

Mine also had it in the glove box.
The new prodigy I just put came with a plug that fit directly in and I only needed to mount the unit.

yep, should be in the glove box. Connect the wires and plug it in to the plug by the emergency brake.

RCE - You didn't mention whether you have an existing brake controller. If so tell us what it is.

If not, the BrakeSmart is an excellent choice. If you get Brakesmart's harness you don't even need the glove box supplied pig tail. The BrakeSmart will plug directly into the under dash blue connector supplied by your vehicles trailer tow package.
