towing poll
I have a 11200 GVWR 5er that adds about 2200 lbs over my 2500 rear axles. The trailer gross weight runs 10200 to 10800 depending on how much junk the wife adds
.
I also pull a 16k tripple axle GN stock trailer that I can load up my trucks 6000 RAWR to the max depending on how the trailer is loaded. Bulls/steers in the front puts me way over the trucks rear axle/tire capacities. I usually haul them over the trailers axles.

32' 5th wheeler, plus a 20' boat, right around 13000#....MAX load per manufacturer recommendations.
So if these rigs are only recommended for 13-14000#, how are you all getting away with pulling up to more than twice the recommended load? Just curious.

50,000lbs cross country and back, with another 10,000 lbs in the bed
No not really. I think a requirement for this thread, is anything over 10,000 lbs you have to post a copy of your weight slip
It's to easy to "say" what you tow
me, 20 foot cargo trailer, 2,000-8000lbs (depending on what's in it) Other than that, that's it. We moved once, and I think with the house loaded inside (didn't own much) I think it was around 10,000lbs, you can feel the weight once you get up over 8, under 8, not much difference driving.

On my old 02 2500, my gross weight on the scale was 43,000 lbs and I pulled that from nebraska to alaska. I had twins and everyone says the power doesnt matter, but sure does help in the mtns. I also had a jake. 5k on front axle, 7500 on rear axle (i had G-rated tires on it), and 30,500 lbs on the two rear trailer axles. I have a pic somewhere on here. great truck
After owning a dually now, night and day difference when towing. Lot more stable. Now I need a bigger truck as I gross 35,000 many times.

2006 2500 with about 50,000 miles on it, 30,000 miles of that has had my flatbed trailer with a Jeep on it(around 5500lbs.).
Not a lot of weight but it's nice to know I could tow a lot more if I needed to.

Normally its my TT weighing in at 5300, sometime with the ski/quad behind it for another 1K..
2 heaviest tows were ~15,500 bumper pull dump trailer and 22,000 bumper pull dump trailer... luckily only about 6 miles each... Was very surprised how well it towed them, 22K was HEAVY but the 15.5K wasn't much harder than the 5K TT since the frontal area was less than half.

24 ft. Toyhauler bumper pull. About 12,000 lb. with bike and gear inside. Pulled okay before Quadzilla, pulls great with Quadzilla! Have pulled it about 5,000 miles from flat lands to mountains with no problems.
