tire suggestions for a 26' bumper pull

I think the trailer is a Pace brand, car trailer, 26', bumper pull, 2 axle. I think the gross total weight for the trailer is 11,000lbs. The tongue says 11,000lbs on it anyway. Heaviest car we haul in it is a 4000lbs one, but would put 500lbs of extra gear in there too.

The trailer has Goodyear Marathons on it now, and that's what we've always used. Is there a better bang for the buck in trailer tires?

Is load range C or D appropriate for this trailer?

Are they 15" or 16" tires ??? go with the highest load rated tire you can find I never use any tire that not LT rated for a trailer....I even stopped using trailer rated tires because they kept blowing out

The best bet is to get tires that match your trailer rating and not go by how much your hauling

i just got tires for my 5th, the man at the shop told me that the goodyears Marathons are about the best for a trailer, but that his thought i have allways had good lock with them , last set had about 40 thousand miles and about 7 years on them ,

checked, it has ST225/75r15 marathons on it, load range D. We've had marathons on all our trailers and have had good luck too, this is the first one we've ever had trouble with. Just was curious if there was something better out there
