Tips for Pacbrake Airbag install

I got some Pacbrake airbags off ebay delivered for $240 yesterday & I was wondering if there are any install tips or if it is just straight forward? I do have a 16K Husky slider hitch & hope it doesn't interfere w/airbag hardware. TIA

Bad Rammer Jammer just posted a thread on this
He has a B&W hitch and had to make some mods to the brackets.

I just install Pacbrake air bags on my 2wd 2500.

The kit, bags, bracketry is of very good quality. The look better than the Firestone air bag kits.

Easy to install but in my case the upper air bag brackets had to be trimmed to clear my underbed Pullrite 5th wheel hitch brackets.

I ran both air hoses to the plastic "pocket" behind the gas cap filler door.
Much easier & shorter to route than to the back bumper in my case and easy to clear the exhaust system.
It is super easy to drill 2 holes for the valves in the plastic pocket.

Also I can jump out of the truck, pop open the fuel door & check the pressure on the bags.
Plus if I have to add more air, the cord from a portable air compresser easily reaches the in cab cigarette lighter.

It doesn't take much air to really raise the truck even with a load.
I run just 15psi fully loaded with a 5th wheel with about 1800lbs pin weight.

I got them installed but I have a leak on the pass. side. Lost 70lbs. of air in 24 hrs. How do you 'unplug' the airlines from the quick connectors?

Push the line in, and push the outer most part of the fitting in. Just fool with it a little. You'll figure it out.

Make sure you cut the line with a sharp blade. NO SNIP'S, OR CUTTER'S. IT HAS TO BE A SQUARE, CLEAN, CUT. If it's at an angle,,,it will leak.

Where is it leaking from. Can you tell. I didn't like the 45* fitting on the pass side. It put the line too close to the exhaust, so I put on a straight fitting. Make sure your line isn't touching the exhaust.

It was easy to fix & took about 2 min. It was one of the lines that was not cut straight, I guess. It looked straight to me. Thanks for yall's help. The total install took me about 1hr. 45 min. The most time consuming was putting the brackets on the bags but I did all that inside the house. Seems to be a quality product. To anyone thinking about getting these bags I'd say do it, well worth the $$.
