Are these the right injectors?

i have some 5x12 sdx injectors on the way
at SDX i think they call them "stage 2" or could also be "90hp"
hoping these are the right thing for my truck

I have a 98 12 v 5 speed (in my sig)
I tow horses, 6-10K
mostly flat and mild foothills, but sometimes I camp in the sierras or go to the coast and there can be steep curvy driving

I am ready to put in a SB con-o clutch, #10 fuel plate, 3GSK, already have gauges, air filter, 4" exhaust (w/muffler) (and big fuel line kit which I don't know if helps at all)

My mechanic was going to put in Bosch 40hp, but I decided to go with the SDX instead, and install myself;saving a couple hundred dollars
The "stage I" injectors (5x10) are like my stock ones; the guy at SDX said I could go up in size and probably would only see egt issues going up the steep hills, which I just don't drive very often.

Am I doing the right thing getting the next step up from stock?

you will need to keep an eye on egts when towing or in the hills I run 90s in my 24v and I can push the temps easy. your right foot will need to be in control

well, i really need something more dependable; somebody else might need to tow with the truck, and I sure don't want to depend on them to monitor the egts with their foot...
does it make any difference that you're driving a 24v?

Lots of people have had good results from the Mach 1.6 sticks. Might do a search and find some of the old threads.
