A northern friend will be coming thru in mid Nov. with an 03 dually 4wd and a huge slide-in he bought last winter. His truck is a twin to mine, except it's 4wd.The camper is all that truck can handle. I'm thinking it needs bags, shocks and a rear swaybar if he can find one that fits. Anyone know where to buy one? I just bought a Hellwig rear sway bar for my 06. $235 with free shipping from never enough auto. Will fit a 03 also. Install was not bad, but had to bend rear brake line a little.

I love my hellwig rear sway bar. I had to have the hanging brackets welded because the super glide mounting brackets prevented me ( in the way)from using the u bolts.

Just a note: I believe this sway bar saved my life when a truck came around a mountain curve about foot and a half on my side of the road. I was able to adjust and maintain control. You feel more confident driving in the mountains.

 

Is there room for airbags with the swaybar? Craig
