stock tires
stock tires
I still have stock tires on my truck. My problem is speeding up or slowing down i get a real bad walking in the rear of the truck around 30-45MPH (side to side). Another thing is i dont know if the short wheel base or what but it real bad on bumps loaded or not. The truck is a 2007 5.9 6speed (G56), quad cab, short wheel base, 2x4, with air bags. The trailer is a 2010 20+5 ProTrak trailer 4,700lbs and 2005 Bobcat T190 7,600lbs. So total weight pulling is 12,300lbs and im pretty sure i got it load 60/40 like it sould be. The air bag pressure is set at 30psi and if i let it down it gets worse. Should i air them up more or is it the tires side walls rolling. Thanks guy's
Is the trailer a goose neck or tag?
Just a guess but it sounds like to me there's not enough tongue weight. Does both the truck and trailer sit level when loaded? Running max air pressure on the truck and trailer tires? If it's a tag do you have a anti sway bar attached?

im sorry, its a gooseneck 20' deck and 5' dove tail. with the air bags i can make the truck sit level. and the air pressure is at cold max on truck and trailer. ill try it with more tongue weight, and see if that helps.
