Snow plow option = No camper???

I'm in the process of looking for a 03 2500 SLT SB HO Auto 4X4 and have read in the camper leaflet that comes with the trucks that you should not put a camper on a truck with the snow plow option?? That does not make any sense.

Of course the salespeople I have been dealing with are clueless.

From what I understand that package just gives you skid plates. does it raise the front?

Any help would be appreciated, and if you know of a good dealer that has that truck in stock let me know alos.

Thanks

Ron W.

Re:Snow plow option = No camper???

I am not sure about 2003 model. But, when I speced out my 2001 the only difference I found between the regular diesel package and the snowplow prep. package were the cab lights. I think the front end is beefed up to hold the extra weight of the engine. Maybe someone else out there knows more.

The front end Does get stiffer springs, but I wouldn't think it would affect a slide in camper :-
