RV water pump headed south any ideas??
Just got back from staying a couple nights at an RV resort in my LQ trailer. Noticed a couple weeks ago that my water pump had to prime after being off several hours. Not a big deal. NOw that I am home and back on the water pump it sounds so bad and is vibrating so bad it is going to come loose off the floor where it is attached!!! If I let it run long enough with shower on it will eventually smooth out but takes a while. Of course the service dept is CLOSED until after next week. My Luck!! Is there anything I can do in the mean time to try and fix it???? Drain the lines etc?? Thanks for the advice.

Did you ever figure out where that little bit of water that was appearing close to your pump was coming from?

What brand of pump is it? There may be rebuild parts available for it.
If it were me, though, and I didn't have a smart/variable speed pump that doesn't pulse, I'd be thinking perfect time to upgrade...
