2018 2500 CCSB Towing Question
So, i read through a lot of threads, but most seem to involve older trucks. I have a 2018 2500 6.7 and Auto, and i am looking to purchase a toy hauler. I have been battling back and fourth between fifth wheels and bumper pulls. Any recommendation from one to the other? Also, what weight should i limit myself to? Would a non toy hauler and piggy back 5x10 trailer be an option, or is that just bad like i think it is? Apologize for all the questions, just want to make sure i dont end up on this forum as a "what not to do" thread. Thanks!!

I cannot answer all of your questions, but I would recommend a fifth wheel over a bumper pull for maneuverability and that's where your hitch should be. Look at semis. The hitch is over the rear wheels, not behind them. A fifth wheel will tow much nicer. Some will argue about dealing with the hitch in the bed. I personally would rather deal with the hitch in the bed than the torsion bars and such for a bumper pull. A fifth wheel will not sway when going down the road. I also would go with a toy hauler. If for no other reason, it is not legal to piggy back in a lot of states. Can only be done in the western states, and only behind a fifth wheel.
