That's a clean lookin' rig. Just curious, in the second picture it looks like you may have done some tree trimming on your way in ? Hope it's just the angle of the picture, if not I hope it didn't hurt anything.
How do ya like that trailer?

Yep - tree trimming. Nothing serious - a very small bough. In fact, what you see in the photo is pretty much all that was on the trailer. The driveway into the show grounds is notorious for being narrow and winding. The first couple of trailers of the day that are longer than 2-horse generally take something off the trees.

I love the trailer. It's a '92 that I bought from a dealer in North Carolina. Had a looong day last Wednesday when I drove from here, to Dumphries, VA and back to get it. I paid them to bring it that far so I could do the trip in one day. Well worth it.

What kind of pin weight does that trailer have? They always look heavy. Just being curious.

It looks like you found a good one, I would have never guessed it to be a 92. Typically 14-15 year old trailers around here do not look that good.

I'll look up the tongue weight. The trailer is 6600 and loaded it's ~12600. It's a gooseneck, not a 5th wheel. ...I don't mind the curiosity - that's why we're all here isn't it?

I'd say the truck squats about an inch and a half when I lift the jack leg.

Yeah, it took some time to find a good price on a trailer I liked. If anyone's interested (I hope this is within the rules) I found it on HorseTrailerWorld.com. There's a huge list of trailers - horse trailers and other. For me the sheer number of listings was helpful because I could browse through and figure out what is a reasonable price for various permutations - without ever leaving my living room.

A 14 year old trailer here (in New England) would almost certainly be on a junk pile, or be heavily restored. This one lived in South Carolina (the title is from there) before it was traded at a North Carolina dealership. ...just lucky ... and patient.

My new to me 04 2500 and 07 Flagstaff 31 footer. Been traveling with both for the last month, and got them both one month and one day ago! Best part is they are both paid in full!

Sampling, somehow it seems to be clean in all of em.

Had to go 140 miles to find hay for the cattle this winter. Several trips.

Gotta get the cattle moved.

Usually we have tractors to do this. Just pulled both of em out of the field though. Little one, 350bushel, big one 465bushel.

No trailer here, not that much weight, but feels like it hoisting those bags up there.
What kind of goosneck is that?
